Keep in mind, please, that this is my essential crystal list and the way that you feel may be very different. These are the stones that I consider absolute must-haves for daily workings with the craft and virtually any spell.

Clear Quartz

Amethyst

Obsidian

Where others fail, obsidian shows the way. Ultimate prevailer of truth, obsidian is useful in spells to seek truth, and to find and protect your own inner truth. Obsidian is useful in divination as a tool for scrying, or as a pendulum. Because of it’s black, mirrored surface, obsidian is also useful to cleanse negative energy.

Selenite

Place in the four corners of your home to protect against negative energies, or carry with you to help cleanse negativity (emotional negativity and spiritual negativity) off of yourself and reduce stress. 

Selenite is self cleansing, and also may be used to cleanse other crystals.  It also has a strong connection with the Devic Kingdom and may be useful in helping to find your spirit guide.

Labradorite

Note: I usually have a laboradorite stone sitting on my tarot cloth during readings.

Lapis Lazuli

An incredible stone with many versed talents, lapis is perhaps best known for it’s ability to increase your psychic awareness and open the third eye. Can be used during divination, in spells to increase personal power, or in healing. 

Lapis also has a lesser known but reliable ability to relieve pain if touched to the area where the pain is occurring. Esoteric Tylenol, as it were.

Citrine

Citrine is also self-cleansing.

I have all except the lapis lazuli so far.

Take note though, that the “citrine” pictured here is actually heat-treated amethyst. Lovely, and still useful as an amethyst (I even I own a heat-treated amethyst which is among my favorites), but real citrine looks very different. Learn the difference between them here.

Make sure practicing witchcraft in your home does not put you in any imminent danger! 

Drink tea - A mundane thing, make it a daily thing in order to make people less suspicious. Say short incantations while stirring in your honey. 

Keep a small plain notebook to use as your grimoire - Use this to write all your witchy ideas in. 

Find a well concealed hiding place to put all of your witchy stuff - Put anything that you want to keep concealed in here. 

Create a portable altar - One easy enough to take down and hide quickly. Draw an altar in your grimoire for a simple portable altar.

Meditate - Sit somewhere you won’t be disturbed and meditate. You don’t need any special supplies to meditate therefore, it is easy to hide.

Paint your nails to match your intent  

Glamour your Clothes

Braid your hair while say an incantation

Trace sigils around your room - Use your fingers so they remain discreet and charge them with intent.

Glamour a piece of jewelry to wear daily

Keep plants and candles in your room - No one will draw conclusions if these are in your room.

Decorate a shoe box to dedicate to your practice - Put any witchy things you want if you are unable to find a place to hide your stuff. 

Use knot magick when tying your shoes

Cleanse your room and home using intentions

Water your plants with growth spells - Speak to them while doing this in order to help them grow.

Do your casting in a discreet location outside - this way no one can interrupt you when you are in the middle of a ritual.

Use color magick when picking out what you want to wear

Use scented candles - Although lots of candles may raise suspicion, if they are scented they won’t draw much attention.  

Write sigils in lotion - Cover your body in lotion sigils, in a couple minutes they will fade away and not be visible.

Stir counter clockwise - In your baking or your tea to banish negative energy.

Use playing cards instead of tarot cards

Go for hikes - A way to be with nature and not raise any suspicion.

Clean your room - This is the equivalence of cleansing your room.

A little easy ritual to invoke self love and body positivity during a shower to cleanse your soul a bit and be close with your body! 

Uses the elements of fire, water, and earth.

Need: 💖2 tea lights

💖pencil/tooth pick

💖 matches 

💖crystals: rose quartz and what ever you need at the moment (example: I used amethyst and unakite for PMS) 

💖 a nice shower 😊

Steps: 1) Inscribe the tea lights with a self love and body positivity sigil into the wax. The ones I used are below but you can use whatever you’d like! Focus your energy and intention of self love into the sigils on the candles.

2) Set them up next to your shower with the crystals you chose (3 preferably).

3) Light them.

4) Focus your energy and visualize a white light of self love around the candles and you as your sigils are now activated. 

5) Get into the shower. As you shower check in mentally and continue to feel that white light spiritually cleaning you as the shower physically cleans you. If you’d like repeat a mantra of self love. Visualize the act of showering as washing off the negative energy and self hate.

6) After the shower, meditate on the thoughts of body positivity and love. Hold the crystals, visualize the white light (turning off the lights helped me but its up to you!)

7) Blow out the candles with the intention of keeping that white light with you once the candles are out.

NOTE: This ritual can be modified for any need with different sigils and crystals! 

This ritual really helped me so I thought I would share! Self love is so important but its sometimes hard to find!  💖
